GP Rider Deluxe

GP RIDER Deluxe
GP Rider Deluxe - Sega proudly presents the latest in realism-oriented motorcycle games, by incorporating a linkage system, it allows for exciting 2-player simultaneous racing competition. Skillfully using various sophisticaded riding tchniques will enable you to actually experience the thrill of being the top rider on the circuit.

The graphics in GP Rider are excellent, among the best you’ll see on that particular platform. The sprites are detailed and you get a good sense of 3D movement despite the game being entirely 2D. The 3D effect is actually better than some of the more established Sega titles of that period.

This is a short game that doesn’t seem to have much background information about it printed online anywhere but it’s very good and well worth playing. There were home versions for the Master System and Game Gear but they don’t really resemble the arcade in either look or feel.

A.B. Cop Emulator Machine

A.B. Cop Emulator Machine
A.B. Cop Emulator Machine is a futuristically themed racing game from Sega in which the player takes on the role of a law enforcement officer
riding a heavily armoured and heavily armed hover-bike - who must chase down and destroy the perpetrators of an armed robbery before the time limit expires.

At the start of each level the player's bike is equipped with a limited number of 'Jumps' which, when utilized, allows the bike to temporarily take to the air; useful in avoiding the many vehicles - both enemy and benign - that litter the tracks. Also, if a jump is timed correctly it's possible to drop onto and attack enemy targets from above. Additional jumps can be earned by riding over the blue 'Jump' icons that occasionally appear on the track.
